Highlights
There were some good scores throughout the four flights, but I think the speed of the greens elevated the scores. I would guess that those who cashed in kept the three putts to a minimum.
Closest to Pin/Longest Drive
Jim Medlin (2’) on #3 Willow; Charles Turner (9’ 1” – what a tough pin position!) on #8 Willow; John Jourdan (6’ 10”) on #4 Maple; Otto Kelley(6’ 8”) on #8 Maple. Long drive – Pete DeSisto.
Next Tournament

New Member Welcome
None this month. We will be losing 25 to 35 members so it’s time to do some recruiting.

Annual dues is now due. The cost remains $21 and includes the hole-in-one insurance. If you include your dues in your entry envelope for December, PLEASE MAKE OUT SEPARATE CHECKS. The deadline for dues is December 31st.
Tournament Sites
I was disappointed in the turnout for Hunter’s Creek. This is the fewest number of golfers we have ever had for a tournament. It certainly wasn’t due to the weather. I am surmising that Greenwood has become too distant because of increasing gas prices. I would like to know if this is true as I am working on next year’s schedule and will not include any Greenwood courses if that is the case. Your feedback would be appreciated. Also, now is the time to recommend any courses you would like to play that we don’t normally play.
