May 30, 2008 Arrowhead Pointe/Highland Walk
We had two great days for golf in Georgia. There we 58 members and guests who teed it up at the nationally recognized Arrowhead Pointe course in Elberton, GA and 22 who came back to compete at the very tough Highland Walk course in Royston, GA. Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to the members who supported this trip by coming and also bringing guests.

Highlights
The first place finishers at Arrowhead, Cody Forrester and Ken Valine won on a course they had not played before. We had two female guests who joined us, Brenda Pace, Mel Pace’s daughter and Margaret Epps, Earl’s wife. Margaret cashed in at Arrowhead Pointe. Earl placed at Highland Walk to save face. Don Tchir won two closest to the pins at Highland Walk and placed sixth.
Closest to Pin/Longest Drive
At Arrowhead: #3 Tim McFall; #7 Bob Provost; #13 Pete DeSisto; #15 Gary Kochman. Long drive was won by Tom Solomon. At Highland Walk: #6 Paul Brandt; #10 Don Tchir; #14 Earl Epps; #16 Don Tchir.Long drive was struck by Pete DeSisto.
