Highlights
It was a tough day due to the windy conditions, but we still had some very good scores. Dean Gosnell started on #1 and began with two birdies to get his winning round off to a great start. Bob Pierce and Pete Ellis had exceptional rounds and anyone who bested his handicap had an outstanding round, given the conditions.

Next Tournament
Pickens CC, Pickens, SC – Thursday, March 12th

Starting time is 9:00 AM and the cost is $24. The Pro Shop is
878-6083. I should receive all entries by Monday, March 9th. Too many members are not entering by the deadline. This causes problems for me in determining flights and completing the paperwork necessary to set up the tournament. Please adhere to the deadline.
April Outing
We will travel south to Arrowhead Pointe in Elberton, GA for a one day outing on Thursday, April 30th. There is a limit of 44 golfers, so if you plan on playing, please sign up by notifying me. It’s first come, first served. Guests are welcome. Checks are due on April 16th. The cost is $45 which covers your round, cart, and prizes.
Pace of Play
We need to pick our pace of play. If you fall behind, please work hard to catch up to the group in front of you. There is 30 to 40 minutes between the groups finishing first and the groups finishing last. Lets keep working to improve. Thanks.
